Charlotte, NC (NACAT)-July 21, 2009 - An "Information & Open Session with NATEF" will be held during the NACAT conference at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC. at 8:30 a.m. NATEF staff will report on current activities such as the e-learning initiative and promoting the involvement of advisory committees with programs. There will be an opportunity for attendees to have an open discussion with NATEF staff. Registration is not required for this event. Kenosha, WI- July 21, 2009 - NATEF will offer Evaluation Team Leader (ETL) training in the state of Wisconsin. The training will take place in the New Horizon Center on the Gateway Community College Campus. The training will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at approximately 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided for all participants. You must be ASE master certified in your specialty area and from an ASE certified program. Note: Participation is limited to 25 people. Out-of-state participants may attend if space permits. Charlotte, NC (NACAT)- July 22, 2009 - "Tips On How To Get Your Program Certified" will be offered during the NACAT conference at Central Piedmond Community College in Charlotte, NC from 10:30 a.m. to noon. This session will cover the basics needed to get you on your way to have your program certified. Topics will include: involving others from your school and your Advisory Committee, organizing materials, completing the application, and preparing for the on-site. Training will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (lunch will be provided at noon). All participants are required to be ASE master certified in their specialty area and from an ASE certified program. Participants should attend the Trade Show the evening of Wednesday, July 22 since this session will be held during Trade Show times on Thursday.
